abstract

the crystal structure of the title schiff base complex is obtained by single-crystal x-ray diffraction data.the solid state structure determination reveals that the coordination geometry around the copper(ii) center istetrahedrally distorted square-planar. the crystal packing shows one dimensional infinite chains which arisesfrom the intermolecular interaction and stabilize the crystal packing.

3-(n-Propyliminomethyl)-1,1′-bi-2-naphthol ethanol solvate

In the title compound, C(24)H(21)NO(2)·C(2)H(6)O, the dihedral angle between the two aromatic ring systems is 87.00 (6)°. There is an intra-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bond, which forms a six-membered ring. Inter-molecular O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds stabilize the crystal structure.

In the crystal structure of the title mononuclear Cu(II) complex, [Cu(C11H16N3O2)(NO3)]·0.25C2H5OH, the complex molecules are linked by N-H⋯O and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming a dimer with an approximate non-crystallographic twofold rotation axis of symmetry. In the monomeric unit, the Cu(2+) ion exhibits a distorted square-pyramidal configuration, whereby the anionic [HL](-) Schiff base ligand...

X-Ray, Crystal Structure and Solution Phase Studies of a Polymeric SrII Compound

In the crystal structure of the title polymeric compound, [C42H38N6O33Sr5.2(H2O)]n, five independent metal atoms (Sr1-Sr5) have different coordination environments. The Sr1 and Sr5 atoms are nine coordinated and feature distorted tricapped trigonal-prismatic and capped square-antiprismatic geometries, respectively....

Redetermination of Crystal Structure of N,N'-bis (2-Hydroxybenzylidene)-2,2-Dimethyl-1,3-Propanediamine

The structure of N,N'-bis(2-hydroxybenzylidene)-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-propanediamine, C19H22N2O2, has been studied at low temperature (120K) by means of single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Solving the structure shows an orthorhombic unit cell, with P212121 space group, Z = 4, a = 6.1046 (4) Å, b = 15.8349 (11)</e...

Crystal structure of 3-(4-chlorophenoxy)-4-(2-nitrophenyl)azetidin-2-one with an unknown solvate

In the title compound, C15H11ClN2O4, the central β-lactam ring is approximately planar [maximum deviation = 0.044 (2) Å for the N atom from the mean plane] and subtends dihedral angles of 61.17 (11) and 40.21 (12) °, respectively, with the nitro and chloro-benzene rings. Both substituents lie to the same side of the β-lactam core. In the crystal, N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules into C(...
